EXCELLENT Based on 117 reviews Posted on MikeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a speciality coffee roasters and cafe just outside the small North Suffolk town of bungay. The building itself is a very unique place and set on a small island on the River waveney, I do believe it does flood in the winter so it will not be open if there is flooding so please check before you travel. If you do travel here for the purpose of buying coffee beans and drinking their coffee you will not be disappointed. I have now been here three times and it is always worth the journey for me.Posted on Graham NixTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The coffee was really good but the cakes although had good taste were hugely over priced and very small. Don’t expect proper toilets. I’d go back for the coffee but not cakes!Posted on James IdeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. Expensive, we had a nice coffee but the food (only cake) came a long time after the coffee had gone. Complained but a waste of time. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND. NOT GOOD ENOUGHPosted on Michael BrittonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I visited this coffee shop recently and while the location is excellent – easy to get to and in a lovely spot – the experience inside was disappointing. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming, which really set the wrong tone from the start. For those who like to have healthier options, there was no semi-skimmed milk available, which felt a bit limiting given most places now cater to a wider range of preferences. Unfortunately, the worst part of the visit was finding a hair in my coffee. When I raised it with the staff, I was met with indifference and no apology at all – just a replacement coffee handed over without acknowledgment. Overall, despite the great location, the lack of customer service and attention to detail makes it hard to recommend. With some improvements in staff attitude and basic hygiene, it could be a much better place.Posted on Mauricio ContrerasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely loved it! What a lovely hidden gem in Norfolk. ELITE coffee, best I've had in Norfolk hands down. Delicious pastries to go with the coffee. The atmosphere, I have to say, is what really makes this a 5 star. The converted silo is wonderful. What a space! Right next to the river as well. My new favorite coffee space in Norfolk for sure. Do check it out if you can!Posted on Jim HallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful interesting setting in an old Silo (yes) lovely friendly young staff and genuine artisan coffee. The cups are 'Huskee', made from coffee bean husks, (how sustainable is that!) Cakes and pizza fantastic and also licensed with a few local beers offered.Posted on Jacek PastuszakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great coffee and atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys the taste of real coffee. Will definitely visit this place in the future.Posted on Gee ShawTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My favourite little coffee pit stop. Right next to the river.
